Day 3 at AIX Hamburg
By Bill Marter
AIX-Hamburg 2019 is finished… Fertig. Terminé. Terminado. Acabado. Finito. Today marked the final day of this wonderful experience that is the world of Aircraft Interiors Expo.
My final day was a balancing act sharing technical data as well as continuing to try to meet with as many new companies as possible. Somehow, I managed to sneak in another panel discussion titled Innovative Materials & Technologies, which featured technical experts from Diehl Aviation, EnCore, and SABIC. The best part of the discussion had to be how the new varieties of materials hitting the market are driving improvements in manufacturing processes. On that note, I want to thank Elijah Dobrusin with Lift by EnCore, who took time after the panel to discuss our line of thermoplastic epoxy from L&L Products.
As I finish packing my suitcase with the innumerable tchotchkes I’ve collected over these three days, I’m reflecting on the show in its entirety. Despite my aching feet and back, this truly has been great experience. Also, my luggage may have a weight issue.
Break out the Epsom salts and ibuprofen, I’m heading home!
Next, Scott Stover & I will be heading to Atlanta, GA to attend the Aviation MRO show. See you there!
