DH Sutherland, a 70-year-old global supplier of advanced composite materials, announced today its exclusive Joint Venture Partnership with Core Tech LLC in Tacoma, Washington.
Dana Pratt, owner of Core Tech LLC, has long been a friend to DH Sutherland. This new partnership expands DH Sutherland’s aerospace structures, interior and MRO business units while energizing Core Tech’s growth.
“This announcement compliments our continued focus on value creation with broader capabilities to serve our aerospace customers around the globe,” said Scott Stover, Vice President of Business Development. “Dana and his team bring just-in-time expertise to a new level with the ability to slice honeycomb and foam core well within customer required tolerances and below minimum order quantities. We look forward to delivering Nomex, aluminum and foam core to our customer’s specifications, quickly.”
The partnership with Core Tech includes a variety of elements such as: staff training, customer interface, export compliant shipments, sales coverage in the Asia Pacific region, R&D projects for automated core filling within the aerospace structures and interior business.
